About Eric Pickett 

Eric Pickett has been advising clients on matters pertaining to international economic law since 2008. Eric is an American and a licensed German lawyer. He studied law at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where he majored in European and international economic law. During the subsequent two-year legal traineeship he worked for distinguished international law firms, where he was given responsibility for cases involving cross-border trade as well as WTO law.

Eric began his legal career at Freshfields as a transaction support lawyer before becoming an associate at a law firm specialising in trade law. He advised his clients on issues arising under export control, trade and customs law and represented his clients before the relevant competent authority, successfully asserting and defending their interests.

In 2013 he founded the law offices of Eric Pickett in Büdingen, near Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He specialises in providing clients a wide range of legal services in international trade matters.

Eric advises clients in both German and English, which is his native language.
